Job Summary
The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations. The role includes preventive maintenance, emergency breakdown handling, and compliance with electrical safety standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Electrical Maintenance
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, switches, sockets, lights, fans, DB panels, and electrical equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
- Diagnose electrical faults and resolve issues promptly.
- Replace damaged wiring, circuit breakers, MCBs, switches, and other electrical components.
2. Equipment & Utilities
- Maintain electrical supply for classrooms, offices, laboratories, and common areas.
- Inspect generators, UPS systems, batteries, and backup power systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of lighting systems, exhaust fans, pumps, and electrical appliances.
3. Safety & Compliance
- Follow all electrical safety standards and company policies.
- Use PPE while performing electrical work.
- Ensure compliance with statutory electrical regulations.
- Report any electrical hazards immediately.
4. Inspection & Documentation
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations.
- Maintain maintenance logs and service records.
- Record material usage and report spare parts requirements.
5. Emergency Support
- Attend electrical breakdowns immediately.
- Provide support during power failures and emergency situations.
- Coordinate with external vendors when specialized repairs are required.
Required Qualifications
- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Electrical License (preferred, if applicable).
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, panels, and distribution systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with electrical testing tools and measuring instruments.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintenance reporting.

Working Conditions
- Indoor and outdoor electrical maintenance work.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
