Position Overview
The Assistant Manager – Battery Management will be responsible for overseeing battery lifecycle management, inventory planning, quality monitoring, service coordination, and technical support to ensure optimum battery performance and customer satisfaction. The role involves close coordination with Sales, Service, Supply Chain, Production, and R&D teams to ensure efficient battery operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete battery lifecycle, including procurement planning, inventory management, allocation, replacement, and disposal.
- Monitor battery performance, warranty claims, and field failures, and coordinate timely corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Service, Sales, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure product availability and efficient battery movement.
- Analyze battery performance data, identify trends, and recommend preventive and corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with battery handling, storage, transportation, and safety standards.
- Support new battery product launches by coordinating with R&D, Quality, and Production teams.
- Monitor battery inventory levels and optimize stock availability while minimizing ageing and obsolete inventory.
- Coordinate warranty replacement processes and maintain accurate records of warranty claims and battery returns.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports, inventory reports, warranty analysis, and operational dashboards for management review.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, cost optimization, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and environmental regulations related to battery management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related discipline. MBA/PGDM will be an added advantage.
- 5–8 years of experience in Battery Management, Energy Storage Systems (ESS), Solar, Inverter, UPS, Battery Manufacturing, or Power Electronics.
- Strong understanding of battery technologies (Lead Acid and Lithium-ion), battery lifecycle management, warranty processes, and inventory control.
- Experience with ERP systems, MS Excel, and data analysis.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
