The Business Manager is responsible for driving business growth, optimizing operations, and ensuring profitability. This role involves translating strategy into execution, managing cross-functional teams, and owning key business metrics including revenue, cost, and performance.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Growth & Strategy
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
- Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly
2. Operations Management
- Oversee daily business operations to ensure efficiency and scalability
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements
- Ensure smooth coordination across departments (sales, marketing, operations)
3. Financial Management
- Own and manage P&L performance
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Track key financial metrics and implement cost-control measures
4. Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams
- Set performance goals and track team productivity
- Build a high-performance, accountability-driven culture
5. Performance & Reporting
- Define and monitor KPIs across business functions
- Generate performance reports for leadership
- Use data insights to drive decision-making
6. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with clients, partners, and vendors
- Negotiate contracts and ensure value optimization
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Key RequirementsExperience
- 5–12 years of experience in business management, operations, or strategy roles
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and improving profitability
