Role Description The Political Content Writer will create clear, engaging, and data-informed political content for Social Media Platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching current political events and policy developments, reports, social media posts, and tailoring content for diverse audiences across digital platforms. The role requires you to translate complex political ideas into accessible, impactful narratives, while maintaining accuracy and neutrality. This is a contract, on-site role based in Lucknow.
Qualifications
- Ability to produce high-quality Political Content Writing tailored to political and policy-focused audiences.
- Experience in Content Strategy, including planning and structuring content for campaigns, platforms, and target demographics.
- Strong Research skills, with the ability to synthesize data, policy documents, and news sources into clear, evidence-based content.
- Proficiency in Proofreading to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all written materials.
- Solid understanding of Indian politics, governance, and public policy; prior experience in political communication or advocacy is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hindi; knowledge of English or other regional languages is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred.
