WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Understanding of Hybrid-VTOL UAVs Flight envelope.

Fixed wing and Multirotor manual flying experience

Understanding of Pixhawk and arducopter/PX4 firmware.
-
Understanding of Flight Planning and Ground Control Stations along with planning for alternate landing and other safety related operations.

Some experience with hands on troubleshooting UAVs Electro-mechanical systems.
WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL BE
-
To plan, co-ordinate, execute and document flight test activities,
-
Testing different subsystems with the drone delivery aspect in mind.
-
Setup and test new hardware and software.
-
Work closely with the engineering design and certification teams to ensure all planned flight test activity meets requirements and company timescales.

Coordinate with the flight test instrumentation section to ensure all instrumentation, data recording and retrieval devices are available for test flights.

Maintain documentation and data management for all flight test activity.

Review supporting safety assessments, flight test documentation, operating procedures and limitations.

Participate in the development of aircraft flight manuals, check lists and related publications.

Oversee coordination from design stage, creation of all maintenance/technical publications for aircraft and system programs;

Undertake Quality Checks, correlation with design, certification agencies;

Undertake ground training classes for the ground crew/engineers on specific areas such as handling, procedures, performance etc;

Design a Flight Test program by working with the team to identify requirements

Produce post-flight reports, including analyzing flight logs and crunching numbers

Write flight ops related documentation
