TThe Quality Executive will be responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, and food safety of Spices, Seasonings, and Syrup products through effective quality control practices, laboratory testing, process monitoring, and compliance with regulatory and food safety standards. The role requires close coordination with Production, Procurement, and R&D teams to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Raw Material Quality Inspection
- Inspect and approve incoming raw materials, including whole spices, ground spices, herbs, seasoning ingredients, sweeteners, flavors, and packaging materials.
- Verify Certificates of Analysis (COA) and ensure compliance with approved specifications.
- Conduct sampling and testing of raw materials as per quality standards.
In-Process Quality Control
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to defined quality parameters.
- Conduct line inspections during blending, mixing, processing, filling, and packing operations.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, GHP, and food safety requirements.
- Monitor critical process parameters and take corrective actions in case of deviations.
Finished Goods Testing
- Perform physical, chemical, and sensory analysis of finished products.
- Test and monitor parameters such as:
- Moisture Content
- Bulk Density
- Mesh Size
- Color & Appearance
- Aroma & Taste Profile
Laboratory & Documentation
- Conduct routine laboratory testing and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain retention samples and testing reports.
- Ensure calibration and upkeep of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain quality records in compliance with ISO 22000, HACCP, FSSAI, and company standards.
Food Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and GHP requirements.
- Participate in internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
Complaint Handling & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support quality improvement initiatives and process optimization projects.
- Work closely with Production and R&D teams for product quality enhancement.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
