Role Summary
We are seeking dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executives to support and expand our Government and NICSI business portfolio. The role involves identifying opportunities, managing tender participation, coordinating with internal teams, and building relationships with government departments and system integrators.
The candidate should have familiarity with government procurement processes, NICSI empanelment business, and tender lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Opportunity Identification
- Identify new business opportunities in:
- Central Government departments
- State Government departments
- PSUs and autonomous bodies
- NICSI-led projects
- GeM portal opportunities
- Monitor and track tender opportunities from:
- NICSI
- GeM
- CPP Portal
- State e-tender portals
- Government websites
- Maintain an updated pipeline of government opportunities.
Tender Management & Bid Coordination
- Analyze RFP/RFQ/EOI documents and summarize requirements.
- Coordinate with technical, finance, and legal teams for bid preparation.
- Prepare and compile:
- Technical proposals
- Compliance matrices
- Commercial submissions
- Bid documentation
- Ensure timely submission of bids through:
- GeM portal
- NICSI portal
- State e-tender portals
NICSI Business Support
- Coordinate with NICSI officials and partner organizations.
- Track NICSI empanelments and rate contracts.
- Support participation in:
- NICSI turnkey projects
- NICSI staffing and implementation assignments
- NICSI project-based engagements
- Maintain documentation for NICSI compliance and reporting.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with:
- Government departments
- NICSI officials
- System integrators
- Consultants
- Arrange and coordinate:
- Client meetings
- Presentations
- Demonstrations
- Follow up on submitted proposals and project status.
Sales Support & Reporting
- Maintain CRM records for all opportunities.
- Prepare:
- Weekly pipeline reports
- Bid status reports
- Sales activity reports
- Revenue forecasts
- Support preparation of:
- Pre-bid queries
- Technical clarifications
- Client presentations
