Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to develop, enhance, and support SAP applications across implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration, and AMS projects. The ideal candidate should have strong ABAP development expertise along with exposure to SAP S/4HANA technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance SAP ABAP applications.
- Develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF objects).
- Create and maintain CDS Views, OData Services, and APIs.
- Develop SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.
- Perform enhancements using User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework, and BAPIs.
- Work on data migration and interface development.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to deliver technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, performance tuning, and code reviews.
- Support production issues and system enhancements.
- Prepare technical documentation and development specifications.
Required Skills
- 4–10 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
- Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects (OOABAP), ALV Reports, Dialog Programming, and RFCs.
- Experience with CDS Views, OData, and SAP Gateway.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA development.
- Experience with SmartForms, Adobe Forms, IDocs, BAPIs, and APIs.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5.
- Knowledge of RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) and AMDP.
- Exposure to SAP BTP and Integration Suite.
- SAP ABAP Certification is an advantage.
- Experience working in Agile project environments.
