Job Summary:
Role: Reporting/Dashboard Automation Specialist in the Non-Distribution Patch of BIIG
Primary Focus: Leveraging technical tools like Python, Power BI, SQL, VBA, and automation techniques to drive reporting and analytics efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:Technical Responsibilities:Automate Reporting Systems:
Develop and maintain end-to-end automated reporting pipelines using Python (pandas, numpy, etc.), Power BI, and SQL.
Design and implement automated scripts for report generation, ensuring data integrity, timeliness, and accuracy.
Data Transformation Integration:
Design complex ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from multiple sources, optimizing performance and reducing manual intervention.
Build data models, perform data cleansing, and develop complex queries to provide accurate and meaningful insights.
Advanced Analytics:
Apply statistical analysis, machine learning models, or advanced Python libraries (e.g., SciPy, scikit-learn) to identify patterns, anomalies, and insights from large datasets.
Implement predictive models and trend analysis to assist in business forecasting and decision-making.
Dashboard Development Visualization:
Create interactive, real-time dashboards in Power BI, integrating with backend databases and automating data flows for dynamic reporting.
Use DAX, Power Query, and other Power BI features to create complex metrics and KPIs.
VBA Macro Automation:
Develop and optimize VBA scripts and macros to automate repetitive tasks in Excel and other reporting tools.
Integrate these solutions with other systems, enabling seamless data transfers and report generation.
Database Management:
Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to extract data, perform calculations, and automate reporting tasks.
Ensure data quality and consistency through rigorous database management practices.
Performance Optimization:
Optimize Python and SQL code for performance, ensuring scalability and handling large datasets efficiently.
Conduct troubleshooting and performance tuning of automation scripts to minimize processing time and improve reliability.
Functional Responsibilities:MIS Reporting Stakeholder Communication:
Publish automated Management Information Systems (MIS) reports and dashboards to monitor key business performance metrics.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and ensure timely delivery of actionable insights.
Trend Analysis Decision Support:
Provide actionable insights from data analysis, including trend identification, and suggest corrective actions for operational improvements.
Support management in decision-making by providing high-level analytical reports and visualizations.
Process Improvement Automation Strategy:
Identify opportunities to streamline manual reporting processes and automate routine tasks across functions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine reporting requirements and improve data-driven decision-making.
Collaboration Cross-Functional Support:
Build relationships with business teams to understand data needs and deliver customized reporting solutions.
Provide technical expertise in data management and analysis to various functions across the organization.
Measures of Success:
Automation Efficiency: Successful implementation of automated pipelines with minimal manual intervention.
Data Integrity: Accuracy and quality of reports generated, ensuring consistency with source data.
Dashboard Adoption: Frequency and user engagement with automated dashboards and reports.
Process Optimization: Reduction in time taken to generate reports and improved process efficiency.
Collaboration Stakeholder Satisfaction: Positive feedback from stakeholders on data quality, visualization, and actionable insights.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
3 - 4 years of relevant experience in Python programming.
Graduate/PG
Good Communication skills
Good analytical skills with ability to Collate and Analyze Large Amount of Data
Learning Agility
Understanding of Python / Advance Excel / Power Automate.
Knowledge of Macros, VB/SQL, Python is required (Power BI or any visualization tool would be added advantage)
