Job Description – Lab Assistant (Physics, Chemistry & Math Lab)
School: The Suraka School
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Key Responsibilities:
- Take care of Physics, Chemistry, and Math laboratories and ensure proper maintenance.
- Assist teachers during practical sessions and laboratory activities.
- Guide and support students during lab sessions and help them use laboratory equipment properly.
- Prepare and arrange laboratory instruments, chemicals, models, and materials before classes.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of chemicals and lab equipment.
- Maintain stock registers, inventory records, and laboratory documentation.
- Ensure cleanliness, discipline, and safety procedures in the laboratories.
- Report damaged equipment and coordinate for repairs or replacements when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree along with relevant Diploma in Laboratory Technology or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in school laboratories.
- Basic knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, and Math lab equipment and safety procedures.
- Good communication and student-handling skills.
- Responsible, organized, and disciplined work approach.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
