Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Operations Yard Supervisor to manage and coordinate daily yard, CFS, and terminal operations. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of container handling, shipping documentation, import/export procedures, and warehouse coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day CFS and terminal yard operations
- Oversee container movement, stacking, and yard planning
- Coordinate cargo handling, loading, unloading, and delivery operations
- Handle shipping documentation and billing processes
- Knowledge of Import & Export documentation including Bill of Entry (BOE)
- Coordinate with transporters, customs agents, and warehouse staff
- Ensure smooth dispatch and delivery of containers and cargo
- Maintain operational records and reports
- Ensure compliance with safety and port regulations
Required Skills & Knowledge
Candidate must have strong knowledge in:
- CFS (Container Freight Station) operations
- Terminal Yard Management
- Shipping documentation & billing
- Import & Export procedures
- Bill of Entry (Import documentation)
- Container handling & tracking
- Warehouse & cargo delivery operations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CFS / Shipping / Logistics / Yard Operations
- Graduation is compulsory
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to handle multiple operational tasks under pressure
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, billing systems, documentation software)
