Key Objective of the Role
The primary objective of the Business Development Manager will be to generate qualified business opportunities and convert them into profitable projects for Amihir Infra.
The candidate will be expected to develop new markets, identify upcoming projects, monitor tenders, establish relationships with decision-makers and ensure that Amihir Infra is consistently positioned for relevant construction opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
Identify new construction and infrastructure projects across Assam and Northeast India.
Develop a continuous pipeline of potential projects and clients.
Research upcoming government, PSU, private-sector and industrial projects.
Identify opportunities with EPC contractors and larger construction companies where Amihir Infra can work as a subcontractor, specialist contractor or JV partner.
Generate leads through direct meetings, networking, industry associations, referrals and digital channels.
Maintain a structured database of prospective clients, consultants, contractors and project opportunities.
2. Tender & Project Opportunity Identification
Regularly monitor government, PSU and private-sector tender opportunities.
Study NITs, RFQs, EOI documents and tender notifications.
Identify projects that match Amihir Infra's technical capabilities and financial capacity.
Conduct preliminary assessment of project value, scope, competition, eligibility requirements and commercial viability.
Coordinate with the technical and commercial teams for bid/no-bid decisions.
Maintain a Tender & Opportunity Tracker with deadlines, estimated values, client details and current status.
3. Client & Relationship Management
Develop and maintain relationships with:
Government departments
PSUs
Infrastructure companies
EPC contractors
Industrial companies
Real-estate developers
Project management consultants
Architects and engineering consultants
Procurement teams
Main contractors and subcontractors
The candidate should actively arrange meetings and site visits and ensure regular communication with prospective clients.
4. Strategic Partnerships
A major responsibility will be to identify companies with whom Amihir Infra can collaborate.
Pay: ₹14,094.83 - ₹58,437.30 per month

Experience:
