We are seeking a meticulous and highly skilled AutoCAD specialist to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for translating electrical and mechanical engineering concepts into accurate, detailed 2D drawings and schematics for Diesel Generator (DG) installation systems. Your designs will ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with all industrial standards.Key Responsibilities1. DG System Drafting & LayoutsDevelop detailed 2D general arrangement (GA) drawings for DG sets, exhaust piping, and acoustic enclosures using AutoCAD.Create comprehensive installation and foundation layout drawings, including structural pads and anti-vibration mountings.Draft technical schematics for fuel piping, day tanks, bulk fuel systems, and cooling systems.2. Electrical Schematics & Hook-upsDesign and draft single-line diagrams (SLD) and control wiring schematics for DG synchronization panels, AMF (Auto Mains Failure) panels, and ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) systems.Layout cable trenches, routing, and earthing/grounding grids associated with the generator setup.3. Coordination & Site ComplianceCollaborate directly with project engineers, structural consultants, and site installation teams to ensure the feasibility of your 2D designs.Conduct clash detection by referencing architectural and structural drawings to ensure clearance and accessibility.Ensure all designs strictly adhere to local electrical and safety regulations (e.g., Central Electricity Authority regulations, OSHA) and sound engineering principles.4. Documentation & RevisionReview and revise drawings based on engineer feedback, site modifications, or as-built conditions.Prepare and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and accurate project documentation.Maintain highly organized project files, revision histories, and drawing layers in compliance with company drafting standards
