Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to manage product planning, inventory coordination, and merchandise presentation. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales, procurement, and operations teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time, helping maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage product assortments based on market trends and customer demand.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
- Analyze sales performance and prepare reports to support business decisions.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding product availability and delivery schedules.
- Ensure products are displayed and promoted effectively to maximize sales.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Assist in pricing strategies, promotions, and seasonal merchandise planning.
- Maintain accurate product data and inventory records.
- Support the launch of new products and promotional campaigns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in merchandising, retail operations, inventory management, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of retail merchandising principles and inventory planning.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management software.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Inventory turnover and stock availability.
- Sales growth and product performance.
- Reduction in stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Accuracy of inventory and merchandise planning.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
