Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Import Clearance & Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of electronic components and coordinate import clearance activities. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, liaising with suppliers and customs agents, tracking shipments, ensuring timely customs clearance, and supporting uninterrupted production operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesImport Clearance
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and courier agencies for import shipments.
- Prepare and verify import documentation such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Entry, Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, and other statutory documents.
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely customs clearance of imported goods.
- Liaise with customs authorities and clearance agents to resolve clearance-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs procedures, DGFT requirements, and company policies.
- Track import duties, taxes, freight charges, and clearance expenses.
- Maintain records of import transactions and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
Purchase & Procurement
- Source electronic components, PCB materials, and production consumables from domestic and international suppliers.
- Raise Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with vendors for timely delivery.
- Compare quotations and negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and distributors.
- Coordinate with production, planning, stores, and engineering teams for material requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement activities to avoid stock shortages.
- Evaluate vendor performance and maintain approved vendor databases.
Logistics & Coordination
- Coordinate inbound logistics and transportation of imported materials.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
- Resolve shipment delays, shortages, damages, and supplier-related issues.
- Ensure smooth movement of materials from supplier to warehouse.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
