Job Description: Hindi & Marathi Teacher
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and bilingual educator to join our faculty as a Hindi and Marathi Language Teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a deep understanding of both languages, improving students' reading, writing, and spoken communication skills, and helping them achieve academic excellence. You will deliver curriculum-aligned lessons across primary and secondary grades, creating an engaging and culturally inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, concept-driven lessons in both Hindi and Marathi according to the prescribed school board (CBSE, ICSE, SSC, or Cambridge).
- Language Development: Foster students' foundational skills in both languages, covering reading, writing, listening, grammar, and spoken fluency.
- Lesson Planning & Assessment: Develop structured lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and periodic test papers. Administer tests, grade papers timely, and accurately track student progress.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, collaborative, and joyful classroom environment conducive to active learning and doubt resolution.
- School & Cultural Events: Actively participate in, coordinate, and organize school assemblies, language weeks, and cultural events (e.g., Hindi Diwas, Marathi Bhasha Diwas).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Conduct parent-teacher meetings (PTMs), prepare detailed report card remarks, and collaborate with school coordinators to address student requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in Hindi and/or Marathi literature (B.A. / M.A. in Hindi/Marathi).
- Teacher Training: A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Master of Education (M.Ed.) from a recognized university is highly preferred.
- Language Proficiency: Exceptional written and spoken command of both Hindi and Marathi languages, with the ability to explain concepts smoothly (knowledge of English is an added advantage).
- Experience: 1 to 5+ years of teaching experience in a recognized school or reputed coaching institute. (Enthusiastic freshers with excellent subject knowledge are also encouraged to apply).
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and a student-centric mentoring approach.
