We are hiring for Carpenter - Modular Furniture Industry .
Job Summary:
A Helper in modular furniture assists skilled workers (like carpenters, installers, or supervisors) in assembling, installing, and transporting modular furniture such as wardrobes, kitchens, office units, and cabinets. The role involves physical work, basic tool handling, and on-site support.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and measurement specifications.
- Cut, shape, assemble, and install modular furniture components such as plywood, MDF, particle board, laminates, and hardware fittings.
- Install modular kitchens, wardrobes, cabinets, office furniture, and other custom furniture at client sites or factory units.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and finishing of furniture installations.
- Use carpentry tools and machinery such as panel saws, drills, routers, edge banders, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform repairs, adjustments, and modifications to modular furniture as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety at the worksite or workshop.
- Coordinate with supervisors, designers, and installation teams to complete work within deadlines.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of modular furniture manufacturing and installation.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements.
- Experience with carpentry tools, woodworking machines, and hardware fittings.
- Good understanding of materials such as plywood, MDF, HDF, laminates, and veneers.
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver quality finishing work.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and install furniture components.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices.
Qualifications
- ITI / vocational training in Carpentry or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in modular furniture fabrication or installation.
- Experience in modular kitchen, wardrobe, and cabinet installation is preferred.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good problem-solving skills during installation and finishing work.
- Strong commitment to quality and timely completion of projects.
