Job Summary
The Hindi Teacher is responsible for teaching Hindi language and literature to high school students in accordance with the curriculum prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The teacher will develop students' reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and comprehension skills while fostering an appreciation for Hindi literature and culture.
Key Responsibilities Teaching and Learning
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Hindi lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach Hindi grammar, literature, prose, poetry, composition, and comprehension.
- Develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Hindi.
- Use innovative teaching methods, activities, and digital tools to enhance learning.
- Encourage active participation, creativity, and language proficiency among students.
Assessment and Evaluation
- Prepare and conduct class tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain records of attendance, grades, and academic progress.
- Prepare students for CBSE examinations and assessments.
Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Foster respect, inclusivity, and student engagement.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students in the classroom.
Student Development
- Identify individual learning needs and provide additional academic support.
- Encourage participation in literary activities, debates, essay writing, and cultural programs.
- Guide students in improving communication and language skills.
Administrative Duties
- Prepare lesson plans and maintain academic documentation.
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, training programs, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Participate in school events, co-curricular activities, and examination duties.
- Support school initiatives and educational programs as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hindi or a related subject.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution.
- Strong knowledge of Hindi language, literature, and CBSE curriculum.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Hindi (M.A. Hindi).
- Prior teaching experience in a CBSE school.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
