About Us
Suha Digitech is a premier technology and educational institution and a proud member of the Suha Group, an international conglomerate with a diversified portfolio spanning the UAE and India. Leveraging the group’s global expertise in hospitality, investment, and tech, Suha Digitech provides industry-leading training in AI, Full-Stack Development, and Digital Marketing. Following our successful operations in Nilambur, we are now launching our flagship Boutique Professional Institute in Ernakulam (Kochi). This new facility is designed to bridge the gap between academic qualifications and global industry standards. We are currently seeking driven, high-caliber professionals to join our founding Ernakulam team and help shape a new benchmark for professional education in Kerala.
Role Overview
We need a skilled video editor, who can also pick up a camera and shoot. Your core strength should be sitting at the timeline and turning raw clips into scroll-stopping Reels, compelling ad videos, course promos, student testimonials, and maybe the odd YouTube explainer. On the videography side, we are happy if you know basic camera handling and framing — we’ll train you to get better, and we have the gear for you to practice and grow. This is a creative role where your editing decisions directly drive how people see Suha Digi Tech online.
What You’ll Do
Editing
- Edit short-form and long-form videos — Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, ad creatives for Meta and Google, course teasers, event highlights, student success stories, and classroom snippets.
- Add meaningful motion graphics, text overlays, captions, transitions, and sound design that make videos come alive.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Executive and Marketing Manager to understand the purpose of each video (lead generation, brand awareness, student motivation) and edit accordingly.
- Deliver videos on time, sometimes under tight deadlines, without compromising quality.
Videography
- Handle basic camera setup for shoots at our Kochi campus — classroom sessions, faculty interviews, campus tour clips, events.
- Manage simple lighting and audio recording so that the raw footage is clean and usable.
- Accompany the Business Development Executive occasionally for an outdoor shoot (like a quick student meet-up or a local event), capture steady, well-framed clips, and come back.
- We don't expect you to be a cinematographer. If you know the basics, great. If you only know editing but are eager to learn shooting, we'll provide hands-on training and let you improve on the job.
Asset & Gear Management
- Organise video files, project files, and backups systematically.
- Take good care of the company's camera, lenses, lights, and audio equipment.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have
- Strong video editing skills proven by a portfolio or showreel (link required to apply)
- Proficiency in any major editing tool — Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or even CapCut Desktop — as long as your output looks professional and not template-heavy. Preference will be given to Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Good sense of pacing, music sync, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to add simple but clean motion graphics (text animation, lower thirds, logo reveals).
- Basic understanding of colour correction and audio clean-up.
- Openness to feedback and a mindset of "let's make this better".
Good to Have
- Any hands-on experience with a DSLR or mirrorless camera — knowing what aperture, shutter speed, and ISO do.
- Prior editing work for an ed-tech brand, coaching institute, or digital marketing agency.
- A degree or diploma in filmmaking, media, or a related field.
What We Offer
- Salary based on your editing skill and experience, with performance-linked increments.
- All necessary equipment (camera, lights, mic, editing workstation) provided by the company — you don't need to bring your own gear.
- Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Shoots within Kochi are planned and travel/expenses covered.
- A creative environment where your ideas matter — if you think a video can be shot or edited differently, we'll listen.
- Growth into a Senior Video Producer role as the content team expands.
