Job Title: Assistant Professor Optometry
Job Description:
- Teach undergraduate Optometry students through classroom lectures, practicals, and clinical demonstrations.
- Supervise students during clinical postings, vision screening, refraction, contact lens clinics, and ophthalmic diagnostic procedures.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, question papers, and evaluate student performance.
- Mentor students in academic projects, seminars, research activities, and professional development.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, accreditation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, internal assessments, and examination documentation.
- Collaborate with the Department of Ophthalmology to provide quality clinical training and patient care.
- Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the Head of Department and Institution.
