Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution:Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, focusing on maximizing revenue and market share.
- Client Relationship Management:Identify and cultivate relationships with existing and potential clients, including corporate clients, travel agencies, and event organizers.
- Lead Generation & Sales:Actively seek out new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and social media.
- Negotiation & Contract Management:Negotiate and finalize sales contracts, ensuring they align with the hotel's financial goals and client needs.
- Client Meetings & Presentations:Conduct sales calls, site inspections, client presentations, and hotel familiarization visits.
- Event Coordination:Manage and coordinate hotel event bookings, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting & Analysis:Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to management.
- Collaboration:Work closely with other hotel departments (e.g., marketing, operations, revenue management) to align sales efforts and maximize revenue.
- Customer Service:Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and beyond, fostering long-term relationships.
- Market Research:Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Upselling and Cross-selling:Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell hotel services to maximize revenue.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals.
- Customer Relationship Management: Strong skills in building and maintaining client relationships.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the sales process.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and team members.
- Knowledge of Hotel Operations: Understanding of hotel operations and revenue management principles.
- Proficiency in Sales Technologies: Experience with CRM systems and other sales-related software.
