As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing application features, overseeing release processes, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer collaborates with various stakeholders to align solutions with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across platforms. Utilizing a combination of standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms, the engineer continuously adapts and enhances applications to support seamless business operations and user satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize application configurations to improve system efficiency and user experience.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Splunk.
- Strong knowledge of application configuration and release management processes.
- Experience working with APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Familiarity with low-code platforms to customize and extend application functionality.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues to maintain application stability.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
