About the Role
As a Data Analyst / Data Scientist Intern at Data Legions, you will work with real datasets to generate meaningful, actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. The role covers the full analytics lifecycle — data collection, cleaning, analysis, visualization, and reporting — while also giving you exposure to foundational data science practices such as building and evaluating simple models. You'll work closely with a dynamic, data-driven team and gain hands-on experience solving real business problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Analyze data to extract actionable insights, trends, and patterns
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations for internal and client-facing use
- Assist in building, testing, and maintaining basic data models aligned with business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven recommendations
- Support automation of repetitive data tasks and processes to improve efficiency
- Communicate findings and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Assist in preparing presentations backed by data-driven recommendations
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency (or working familiarity) with Excel, SQL, and Python
- Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
- Basic understanding of statistics and/or machine learning concepts is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex data clearly
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setup
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of data analytics and data science
