Role Summary
Responsible for managing the organization’s daily banking transactions, liquidity, and financial risk activities to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cash & Liquidity Management
Monitor daily cash balances across bank accounts
Ensure adequate funds for operational needs
Optimize cash utilization and minimize idle balances
2. Banking Operations
Handle day-to-day transactions (payments, receipts, transfers)
Coordinate with banks for issue resolution
Manage relationships with banks like State Bank of India or HDFC Bank
3. Payment Processing
Process vendor payments, payroll funding, and statutory payments
Use payment systems such as NEFT, RTGS,
Ensure timely and accurate fund transfers
Track inflows and outflows
4. Reconciliation
Perform daily bank reconciliations
Investigate and resolve discrepancies
Monitor loan positions and interest payments
5. Risk & Compliance
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
6. Reporting
Prepare MIS reports for management
Required Skills
Knowledge of banking systems and payment methods
Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
Understanding of cash flow and liquidity management
Attention to detail and accuracy
Communication and coordination skills
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce
MBA (Finance) or professional certification (preferred)
Experience
5–8 years in treasury, banking, or finance operations
Tools & Systems
ERP systems (Oracle, NAV)
Banking portals and treasury management systems
MS Excel / Google Sheets
