Job Overview
Next XR India is looking for a detail-oriented and quality-focused XR Tester to test and validate immersive technology applications involving Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and WebGL platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, designers, and project teams to ensure applications function smoothly, meet quality standards, and provide an optimal user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, usability, regression, and performance testing for XR applications.
- Test AR, VR, and WebGL-based applications across different devices and platforms.
- Identify, document, track, and report bugs/issues effectively.
- Coordinate with developers and technical teams for issue resolution and retesting.
- Validate UI/UX consistency and overall application performance.
- Ensure smooth user interaction and immersive experience across XR environments.
- Prepare testing reports and maintain proper QA documentation.
- Assist in reviewing application stability before deployment or client delivery.
- Support the team in maintaining quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of AR, VR, and WebGL testing.
- Understanding of software testing and QA methodologies.
- Experience in bug tracking and issue reporting processes.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with development and design teams.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with XR devices/platforms such as Oculus, HTC Vive, or mobile AR platforms.
- Basic understanding of Unity or immersive application workflows.
- Prior experience in testing gaming or immersive applications is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in software/application testing, preferably in XR, gaming, or interactive applications.
