Job Summary
The Retail Training Manager is responsible for designing and implementing training programs to improve the performance, product knowledge, and customer service skills of store teams across Cult retail stores. The role focuses on developing high-performing store managers and sales staff while ensuring brand standards and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities1. Training & Development
- Design and deliver retail training programs for Store Managers, Assistant Managers, and Sales Associates.
- Conduct new employee onboarding training for store teams.
- Train staff on sales techniques, customer experience, and product knowledge.
2. Store Performance Improvement
- Identify training needs through store audits, KPI analysis, and feedback.
- Support stores to improve conversion, ATV, UPT, and sales productivity.
- Work closely with store managers to enhance team performance.
3. Learning Program Implementation
- Develop training modules, SOPs, and learning materials.
- Conduct classroom sessions, virtual training, and on-floor coaching.
- Ensure consistent brand experience and service standards across all stores.
4. Coaching & Leadership Development
- Mentor and develop Store Managers and Team Leaders.
- Conduct leadership training and performance coaching.
- Support succession planning for future store leaders.
5. Training Evaluation
- Track training effectiveness through store performance metrics and employee assessments.
- Prepare training reports and improvement plans for retail leadership.
Key Skills Required
- Strong retail sales training experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to coach and motivate retail teams
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs and customer experience
- Training program design and facilitation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or Hospitality
- 5–8 years experience in retail training or retail operations
- Experience in fashion, sportswear, or lifestyle retail preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
