Job Title: Senior Sales Tour Consultant
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer travel requirements and recommend suitable domestic & international tour packages
- Convert leads into confirmed bookings through calls, WhatsApp, emails, and walk-ins
- Handle package costing, quotations, follow-ups, and closures
- Coordinate with hotels, airlines, and vendors to ensure smooth bookings
- Explain itineraries, inclusions, exclusions, and visa requirements clearly
- Maintain customer data, bookings, and payment records accurately
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to revenue growth
- Provide excellent pre-travel and post-travel customer support
- Stay updated with travel trends, destinations, and offers
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5 year experience in travel sales / customer service
- Strong communication skills in English & Tamil (Hindi is a plus)
- Passion for travel and tourism
- Sales-oriented mindset with good convincing skills
- Comfortable with calling, follow-ups, and customer interactions
- Basic knowledge of tour packages, visas, and destinations (training will be provided)
- Willingness to learn and grow in the travel industry
- Computer-friendly (MS Excel, email, CRM tools – basic level)
