- PL/SQL Development & Maintenance:
- Analyze, develop, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL code (stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, Index, Cursor, collection, View) for performance and efficiency.
- Debug and resolve issues in existing PL/SQL code & complex queries.
- Perform data fixes and data manipulation using SQL and PL/SQL.
- Implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms within PL/SQL code & performance tuning & code optimization
- Navigate and manage files and directories using basic Linux commands (e.g., cd, ls, cp, mv, rm, grep, find).
- Monitor system resources and processes
- Execute and troubleshoot shell scripts for automation and task execution.
- Review and analyze system logs for errors and anomalies.
- Collaboration & Documentation:
- Collaborate with development teams, DBAs, and other support teams to resolve complex issues.
- Document solutions, procedures, and knowledge base articles for future reference.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for production support processes.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL.
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in basic Linux commands and shell scripting.
- Experience with production support processes and incident management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
