Job Objective:
· Responsible for Product and Customer quality Assurance and Quality control (all products in BLR location & CHN Location)
· Supplier and Incoming quality Assurance
· Establishment and improvement of QMS maturity in Both Plant location
Primary Responsibility
1. QMS Strategy- Align with PMA for implementation of Quality process, drive the same in PreBo for implementation and improve maturity.
2. Customer Quality and Relationship management- Establish & supervise regular interactions on progress of Q measures w.r.t customer quality topics (requirements, claim management etc.) with mapped management levels at suppliers & customers.
3. Escalation Management- Authorize and escalate quality concerns / risks to leadership team to seek appropriate management interventions / decisions.
4. Quality conformance- Act as Product Safety and Conformity Representative (PSCR) for the plant.
5. Reviews and audit 1- Coordinate for Management review such as QRM 1 (in house and customer quality), QRM 2 (supplier quality), Reporting to PMA & Prettl, Germany on Monthly Quality statistics, Monthly reporting to Bosch in Management review meeting. Ensure adherence of Planned audit, and close looping of Customer audits as per given time line
6. Quality Lab Management- Oversee investments and upkeep of the QM laboratories with the necessary calibrations & certifications to ensure all time availability and achieve per-defined performance levels.
7. People Management- Foresee the quality management and competency requirements within the function based on current and future business trends and direct employee capability development accordingly.
8. Q mindset drive- Enable and coach Value stream in scaling Q metrics with appropriate skills and tools (Q mindset drive, Establishment of Quality academy, LPC, Line-walk, Quality dialogue etc.,) - Cop to coach
9. Supplier & Incoming Quality- Guide team for ensuring defect free child part to Value stream through supplier dialogue, audits, incoming inspection and strengthening of supplier Quality mindset
10. Safe launch – Guide Quality engineer in defining the right safe launch strategy for new products, and drive safe launch management for achieving ‘0’ defect

Desired qualifications
B.E (Mechanical / Production Engineering)
Desired experience
Experience: 10+ years of experience in Quality management / Production management in Tier 1 / Tier 2 Automotive / mechanical industry
- High level of knowledge on Q documents – FMEA, CP, WI etc.
- Problem solving tool – Especially 8D
- Knowledge on IATF Guidelines, PPAP documentation
- PDCA Approach
- Trained Auditor as per IATF 16949 / VDA
- Team and resource management
- Customer & Supplier Management Experience
- Experience on measurement, gauging & inspection activities
