- Key Responsibilities
- Administer configure and maintain Windows servers and related services in production and non production environments
- Perform user group and permissions management ensuring secure access control and adherence to organizational policies
- Monitor system performance capacity and availability proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact users
- Apply OS patches security updates and firmware upgrades following change management processes aligned with ITIL practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Windows servers Active Directory and related infrastructure components within agreed SLAs
- Manage backup restore and disaster recovery procedures for Windows based systems regularly testing and documenting recovery plans
- Maintain detailed documentation for configurations standard operating procedures and infrastructure diagrams
- Collaborate with network security and application teams to support deployments integrations and environment changes
- Participate in on call rotation and provide support during planned maintenance windows and critical incidents
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation optimization and standardization of Windows administration tasks
- Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering B
- Tech or equivalent in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- 5 8 years of hands on experience as a Windows Administrator managing medium to large scale environments
- Strong experience with installation configuration and administration of Windows Server operating systems
- Solid understanding of Active Directory DNS DHCP Group Policy and basic networking concepts
- Proven experience in incident problem and change handling within structured ITIL based processes
- Experience with system monitoring log analysis and performance tuning for Windows servers
- Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation and operational runbooks
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Knowledge of more than one technology
- Basics of Architecture and Design fundamentals
- Knowledge of Testing tools
- Knowledge of agile methodologies
- Understanding of Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects
- Understanding of one or more Estimation methodologies Knowledge of Quality processes
- Basics of business domain to understand the business requirements
