Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled React Native Engineer to join our mobile development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS. Ideal candidates are passionate about mobile technologies and eager to build scalable, user-friendly applications. You will collaborate with senior developers, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and QA teams to deliver reliable, high-performance mobile solutions while contributing to continuous improvement of development practices.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in developing and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
· Build responsive, reusable, and efficient UI components following modern mobile development best practices.
· Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, and backend services.
· Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
· Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues related to performance, functionality, and user experience.
· Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards to ensure maintainable and high-quality code.
· Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, scalability, and battery efficiency.
· Assist in implementing state management solutions such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand.
· Work with native device features such as camera, location, notifications, storage, and permissions when required.
· Support CI/CD pipelines and assist in publishing applications to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
· Write unit and integration tests to improve application reliability.
· Stay up to date with the latest React Native ecosystem, JavaScript/TypeScript features, and mobile development best practices.
Required Qualifications
· Basic understanding of React Native and cross-platform mobile application development.
· Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and familiarity with TypeScript is an added advantage.
· Understanding of React fundamentals including components, hooks, state management, and lifecycle methods.
· Familiarity with REST APIs and asynchronous programming concepts.
· Basic knowledge of Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
· Understanding of mobile UI principles, responsive layouts, and platform-specific design guidelines.
· Exposure to state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or MobX is a plus.
· Familiarity with Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Push Notifications, Analytics) is an advantage.
· Basic understanding of native Android or iOS development concepts is a plus.
· Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or React Native Testing Library is an added advantage.
Required Skills
· Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
· Ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
· Understanding of mobile application architecture and performance optimization.
· Good knowledge of API integration and handling asynchronous operations.
· Familiarity with development tools such as Android Studio, Xcode, and Visual Studio Code.
· Basic understanding of mobile application deployment processes for Android and iOS.
