Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Software Testing Trainer to deliver high-quality training programs covering manual and automation testing concepts. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on industry experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to train students or professionals with varying levels of expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Delivery
- Conduct classroom and online training sessions on manual testing, automation testing, and testing tools.
- Design, update, and deliver course materials, presentations, assignments, and assessments.
- Provide hands-on demonstrations of testing processes, tools, frameworks, and best practices.
- Evaluate learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
Curriculum Development
- Develop and continuously improve the testing curriculum based on industry trends.
- Create training documents, lab exercises, case studies, and project work.
- Ensure course content aligns with real-world software testing practices.
Student Support
- Mentor and guide students during practice sessions and projects.
- Assist learners in interview preparation—mock interviews, resume reviews, and technical guidance.
- Support placement teams by identifying job-ready candidates.
Industry Engagement
- Stay updated with new testing tools, methodologies, frameworks, and market demands.
- Integrate modern practices such as Agile testing, DevOps testing, CI/CD, and cloud testing into the curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications:Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, test planning, test case design, defect life cycle.
- Expertise in functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and API testing.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as:
- Selenium WebDriver
- TestNG / JUnit
- Cypress / Playwright (preferred)
- Postman / REST Assured for API testing
- Jira / Azure DevOps / TestRail for test management
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (Java/Python/JavaScript).
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for learners.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Experience
- 3–8 years of hands-on experience in software testing
- 1+ years of training/mentoring experience
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: ₹350.00 - ₹400.00 per day
Expected hours: 7.50 per week
