Job Description:
We are looking for a Purchase & Stores Engineer-Trainee to join our Engineering Manufacturing Unit located in Chinnavedampatti, near CMS College, Coimbatore. The role involves managing purchase activities and maintaining efficient store operations to support production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle purchase activities including sourcing, vendor communication, and procurement of materials.
- Maintain and manage store inventory and stock records.
- Ensure timely availability of materials for production.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments for smooth procurement processes.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain proper documentation for purchase and stores.
Requirements:
- Qualification: BE (Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or B.Com
- Preference will be given to fresh candidates (training will be provided).
- Candidates with experience can also apply if they are willing to adapt to the company’s working environment.
- Age: Preferably between 21 – 35 years.
Skills Required:
- Basic knowledge or Interest in purchase, procurement, or stores
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, documentation)
- Good communication and coordination skills
- follow-ups, time management skills and willingness to learn.
