Ionob Innovations LLP is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Kozhikode. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation testing, strong analytical skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and the QA team to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts while ensuring software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to prepare effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Maintain automation frameworks and continuously improve test coverage.
- Execute manual testing whenever required.
- Generate test execution reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous integration and continuous testing processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# for automation scripting.
- Experience using TestNG, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Basic understanding of SQL and database validation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
