Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled System Administrator with hands-on experience in Cisco Managed Switches, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Fortinet Firewalls, and Network Security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring network availability, system security, and uninterrupted business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco Managed Switches (VLANs, STP, Trunking, Routing, ACLs).
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet Firewalls (FortiGate), including VPNs, NAT, security policies, IPS, and web filtering.
- Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers, including installation, patching, user management, and performance tuning.
- Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Implement network security best practices and monitor security events.
- Perform server backup, disaster recovery, and system restoration activities.
- Troubleshoot network, server, firewall, and connectivity issues.
- Work with antivirus, endpoint security, and access management solutions.
- Prepare and maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and network diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Managed Switches and enterprise networking.
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate Firewall configuration and management.
- Administration experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching, VPN, NAT, DNS, DHCP, and network security.
- Experience with server monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in system administration and network security.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
