About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer / Furniture Designer to conceptualize, design, and deliver interior spaces and custom furniture solutions that blend aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, sales, and production teams to translate design briefs into buildable, production-ready outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop interior design concepts, mood boards, layouts, and 3D visualizations for residential and commercial projects
- Design custom furniture and modular cabinetry pieces, ensuring designs are both visually compelling and production-feasible
- Prepare detailed drawings, elevations, and specifications (material, finish, hardware) for manufacturing and site execution
- Coordinate with clients to understand requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback
- Work closely with the production/factory team to ensure design intent is accurately translated into finished products
- Select materials, finishes, colors, and furnishings aligned with brand standards and budget
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and costing inputs in coordination with estimators
- Stay updated on design trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques relevant to modular furniture and interiors
- Support site visits, measurements, and installation quality checks as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, or related field
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in interior design and/or furniture/cabinetry design (experience with modular kitchens/wardrobes is a plus).
- Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max/V-Ray, Photoshop; knowledge of parametric/cabinetry design software is an advantage
- Strong understanding of materials (laminates, veneers, solid wood, glass, aluminum systems), hardware, and manufacturing processes
- Good communication and client-facing presentation skills
- Ability to balance creative design with production and cost constraints
- Detail-oriented with strong project coordination skills
Nice to Have
- Experience working with a manufacturing or B2B interiors brand
- Familiarity with design-to-production software/workflows
- Portfolio showcasing both spatial design and custom furniture pieces
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
