Queensway Overland is looking for a skilled and experienced to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in fabrication, welding, cutting, fitting, and assembling metal components. The candidate should be able to read basic drawings and work safely and efficiently as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fabrication, cutting, fitting, and assembly of metal structures and components.
- Read and understand basic fabrication drawings and measurements.
- Measure, mark, cut, drill, bend, and shape metal materials accurately.
- Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, and quality of fabricated components.
- Operate fabrication tools and machinery safely.
- Inspect completed work for defects and ensure required quality standards are maintained.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and complete assigned work within the required time.
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Fitter, Welder, Fabrication, or a related trade is preferred.
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in fabrication and welding.
- Good knowledge of fabrication tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to read basic drawings and take accurate measurements.
- Good welding and fitting skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Physically fit and willing to work in a workshop/production environment.
Candidates with experience in vehicle body fabrication, automotive fabrication, or heavy fabrication will be preferred.
