Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret Plans: Study blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Prepare Materials: Measure, cut (using torches/saws), align, and secure metal pieces.
- Perform Welding: Apply various techniques (MIG, TIG, arc) to join or repair metal components, ensuring strong, precise bonds.
- Inspect & Test: Check welds for flaws, overheating, or improper fusion, often using measuring tools.
- Maintain Equipment: Keep welding machines, torches, and tools clean, calibrated, and in good working order.
- Follow Safety: Adhere to all safety rules, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and manage hazardous conditions.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with different welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) and equipment.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for precision and quality control.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and adapt to changing project needs.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of working in various positions (standing, kneeling, overhead) and environments.
- Knowledge: Understanding of metallurgy and thermal dynamics.

- Locations: Factories, construction sites, or in the field, sometimes in hazardous conditions (high elevations, underwater).
