We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Child Psychologist to join our team on an on-call basis at our Kochi, Ernakulam office. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents, conducting psychological assessments, providing therapy, and supporting families in addressing emotional, behavioral, developmental, and learning concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for children and adolescents.
- Provide individual counseling and therapeutic interventions.
- Develop personalized treatment and intervention plans.
- Offer guidance and counseling to parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, including pediatricians, therapists, educators, and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and client records.
- Participate in case discussions and provide recommendations for intervention strategies.
- Be available for consultations based on appointment schedules.
Qualifications
- Batchelors/Master's in Clinical Psychology, Child Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in clinical, educational, or healthcare settings.
- Strong communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage appointments efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in developmental assessments, behavioral therapy, or learning disability evaluations.
- Familiarity with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety, emotional and behavioral disorders, and other childhood mental health concerns.
- Ability to build rapport with children and families.
