Job Title: IT Service Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled IT Service Engineer to manage and support the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensure system availability, and provide technical assistance to users. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware/software issues, maintain networks, and deliver excellent IT service support.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues(for clients)
· Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and servers
· Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of IT services
· Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents and service requests within SLA timelines
· Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security policies
· Support network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, VPN)
· Perform system updates, backups, and patch management
· Document issues, solutions, and IT processes
· Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers
· Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
· Proven experience as an IT Service Engineer / IT Support Engineer
· Strong knowledge of:
o Windows / Linux operating systems
o Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
o Active Directory & Office 365
· Experience with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
· Basic understanding of cybersecurity practices
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
· Certifications like:
o CompTIA A+ / Network+
o Microsoft Certified (MCSA/MCSE)
o ITIL Foundation
· Experience in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
· Knowledge of virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper-V)
