Job Title: Business Development Executive – IT Domain
Overview:
As a Business Development Executive in the IT domain, you will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding client portfolios, and building long-term partnerships through strategic planning and proactive engagement. Your role involves identifying potential business opportunities, leveraging online bidding platforms, and implementing data-driven sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through online platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Manage the entire sales cycle — from lead generation to negotiation, closure, and account management.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with company objectives and market trends.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, trust, and value-driven engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing and pre-sales teams to design proposals, pitch decks, and client presentations.
- Utilize CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce) to track leads, monitor performance, and forecast sales.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new verticals and emerging business opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and networking conferences to enhance market visibility.
- Provide monthly and quarterly performance reports and suggest data-driven improvements for business growth.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to strengthen the overall sales capability.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience in Online Bidding (Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Strong knowledge of IT Services, Web & App Development, SaaS, or Digital Solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems, data analytics, and business intelligence tools.
- Strong understanding of sales funnels, lead nurturing, and pipeline management.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Team leadership and client handling experience is an added advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in IT Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
