Job Description: ESG Performance & Benchmarking Specialist
Experience Required:
3–5 years
Role Purpose
Lead the advancement of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance and benchmarking initiatives within and beyond the automobile industry. Ensure ESG reporting aligns with globally recognized frameworks, driving continuous improvement in ratings, disclosures, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
ESG Ratings
Analyze and interpret methodologies from leading international and domestic ESG rating providers.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance ESG ratings, including identifying improvement opportunities and tracking progress.
Stay up to date with evolving ESG rating methodologies and integrate changes into internal processes and reporting requirements.
ESG performance Reporting & Disclosure
Prepare and disclose ESG performance reports in compliance with Integrated Reporting, SEBI BRSR, and other relevant frameworks.
Ensure timely, accurate, and transparent reporting of ESG data to meet regulatory and stakeholder expectations.
Benchmarking & Insights
Benchmark ESG performance against industry peers and cross-sector leaders to identify best practices and areas for improvement.
Generate actionable insights and recommendations to drive continuous enhancement of ESG reporting and disclosure practices.
Stakeholder Engagement
Identify and understand the needs and expectations of external stakeholders regarding ESG initiatives, reporting, and disclosures.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align ESG strategies with stakeholder priorities.
Continuous Improvement
Foster a culture of continuous improvement in ESG performance, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
Skills & Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of ESG frameworks (e.g., Integrated Reporting, BRSR) and rating methodologies.
Proven experience in ESG performance reporting, data analytics, and benchmarking.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Proficiency in materiality analysis.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning.
