Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking café menu items (snacks, beverages, light meals, etc.)
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards
- Follow recipes and portion controls accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per food safety standards
- Support in stock management, including receiving, storing, and monitoring inventory
- Assist in minimizing food wastage and controlling costs
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials and prepared items
- Help in menu planning and introducing new dishes
- Coordinate with service staff for timely order preparation
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any issues
