About the Role
We are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, provisioning, and managing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure while collaborating with DevOps and development teams to automate deployments and optimize cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using industry best practices.
- Provision and maintain AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Route 53, ELB/ALB, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation/Terraform.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Create reusable Terraform modules and maintain version-controlled infrastructure.
- Configure and manage AWS networking components including VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway, Security Groups, NACLs, VPN, and Direct Connect.
- Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting using Amazon CloudWatch and related AWS monitoring services.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions.
- Ensure cloud environments follow security, compliance, and cost optimization best practices.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and cloud modernization initiatives.
Required Skills
- 4–6 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.
- Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including:
- EC2
- VPC
- IAM
- S3
- RDS
- Route 53
- ELB/ALB
- Auto Scaling
- CloudWatch
- Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts.
- Experience creating reusable Terraform modules.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Hands-on experience with Git and version control systems.
- Working knowledge of Linux administration.
- Basic scripting experience using Python and/or Bash.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
