-Ensure the work station, equipment's are tidy, sterlised and calibrated.
- Receive the patient measure the corneal curvture, before dilating the pupil find out if the patient suffers from any systemic illeness.
- Check the muscle balance and guide the patient in selecting appropriate spectacles . Do central visual field test for the required patients.
- Check binocular single vision and colour vision for those who need medical certificate . Access the visual acuity and refractive erors.
- Check patients in waiting area from time to time to verify all are well directed and manage crowd on busy days and device means for fast tracking patients with efficiancy.
-Ensure whether the patients are satisfied with their corrected vision and prescribed specs. Based on the requirement there will be rotation of duty within optometry department.
