Job Summary
Star Infomatic Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and organized Store Manager to oversee all store and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory management, stock control, material movement, documentation, vendor coordination, and ensuring efficient storage and dispatch of materials. The candidate should have strong knowledge of inventory systems, ERP software, and warehouse best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Stock Management
- Manage daily store operations and inventory activities.
- Ensure accurate receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain optimum inventory.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Material Receiving & Dispatch
- Supervise inward and outward material movement.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Ensure timely dispatch of goods with proper documentation.
- Coordinate with logistics and transport vendors.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers.
- Generate and manage GRN, material issue notes, and delivery challans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for inventory transactions.
ERP & Reporting
- Update inventory transactions in ERP/software systems.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Track slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
- Provide MIS reports to management.
Team & Warehouse Management
- Supervise store staff and warehouse personnel.
- Ensure proper storage, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization.
- Implement process improvements for operational efficiency.
Vendor & Internal Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement, production, sales, and finance teams.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding shortages or discrepancies.
- Support material planning and procurement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Inventory Management preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in store, warehouse, or inventory management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Tally, SAP, or inventory management software.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Good analytical and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Telecom, Electronics, IT Hardware, Manufacturing, or Distribution industries.
- Exposure to inventory audits and warehouse management systems.
