Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Welder to oversee and manage welding activities at project sites and fabrication units. The candidate should ensure quality welding work, adherence to safety standards, timely execution, and coordination with production and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all welding and fabrication activities at site/workshop.
- Ensure welding work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor weld quality and ensure compliance with project standards.
- Coordinate with site engineers, fabrication teams, and QA/QC departments.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of welding machines and equipment.
- Conduct inspection of welding joints and rectify defects if required.
- Maintain welding consumables and inventory records.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures during welding operations.
- Prepare daily progress reports and manpower reports.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned work targets.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of MIG, ARC, and Gas Welding processes.
- Understanding of fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
- Good leadership and manpower handling skills.
- Knowledge of welding safety standards and quality checks.
- Basic reporting and documentation skills.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Welding Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in welding supervision/fabrication work, preferably in PEB or structural steel projects.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
