BioSystems Diagnostics Private Limited (BDPL) has been distributing high-quality in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) products across India since 2003 through a strong and committed network of distributor partners. BDPL began its journey with trading of IVD reagents and instruments and has since expanded into in-house manufacturing operations in India.
We are seeking a skilled and responsible electrician with a valid B Licence to maintian, troubleshoot, and ensure the safe operation of electrical systems and equipment within our facility at Irukkattukottai, Chennai. The candidate will support preventive maintenance activities, attend breakdown and ensure compliance with electricall safety standards
Qualification
ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Valid Electrical B Licence (mandatory).
Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems in the manufacturing plant.
Operate and maintain HT/LT panels, transformers, switchgear, motors, and power distribution systems.
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams (SLD).
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
Coordinate with contractors, maintenance teams, and government inspectors when required.
Maintain maintenance records, logbooks, and compliance documentation.
Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
Skills Required
Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of MCC, PCC, VFDs, motors, starters, ACB/VCB systems.
Understanding of industrial safety procedures.
Ability to use electrical testing instruments such as multimeters and clamp meters.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
