Job description:
We are seeking an experienced International Logistics Manager to handle complete India–US trade lane operations, including export documentation from India, US import coordination, customs handling, sea & air shipments, freight negotiations, and regulatory compliance. The candidate will independently manage end-to-end shipment processes.
Key Responsibilities Export Operations – India
- Handle complete export documentation as per DGFT and Indian Customs.
- Manage Shipping Bills, LUT/Bond documentation, HS code classification.
- Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and port authorities.
- Ensure smooth clearance from Indian ports.
US Import Coordination
- Coordinate with US customs brokers for import clearance.
- Ensure compliance with US Customs & Border Protection (CBP) regulations.
- Manage ISF filing (Importer Security Filing – 10+2).
- Ensure duty payment coordination and correct tariff classification.
Sea & Air Freight Management
- Handle FCL / LCL ocean shipments.
- Manage air freight consignments.
- Negotiate freight contracts with shipping lines & airlines.
- Monitor transit timelines and avoid demurrage/detention.
Multi-Port & Route Planning
- Manage shipments across major Indian ports (Nhava Sheva, Chennai, Mundra, etc.)
- Coordinate US ports like Los Angeles, New York, Houston, Savannah.
- Optimize routing and freight cost.
Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with GST, export incentives, duty drawback.
- Monitor US import duties and trade compliance.
- Stay updated on international trade regulations

- Vendor & Cost Management
- Negotiate freight rates.
- Manage freight forwarders and transport vendors.
- Control logistics cost and improve margins.
Required Experience
- 6–10+ years in International Logistics.
- Strong experience in India–US trade lane.
- Deep knowledge of customs documentation (India & US).
- Experience handling sea & air shipments.
- Strong negotiation skills with shipping lines and freight partners.
- Knowledge of INCOTERMS 2020.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree (Logistics / Supply Chain / Commerce).
- Certification in Import Export Management preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
