About the Role
DVertex Info System Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Android developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building scalable, high-performance Android applications and should be capable of independently handling the complete application development lifecycle.
Important: The maximum budget for this role is under ₹50k per month We kindly request that only candidates who are comfortable with this compensation range apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications.
- Build clean, scalable, and maintainable code using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and security.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA, and product teams.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.
- Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and best practices.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Excellent knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
- Experience with MVVM architecture and Android Jetpack components.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and Retrofit.
- Experience with Room Database/SQLite.
- Knowledge of Firebase (FCM, Crashlytics, Analytics, Authentication).
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Good understanding of performance optimization and memory management.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience with Google Maps, GPS/Location Services, and background services is an advantage.
- Experience working on enterprise or SaaS mobile applications is preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
